Default What wire is for the heated seats??

I tried installing a set of heated 964 seats and the heat does not come on. Is the wire part of the big main plug??

My seat heaters worked by just attaching the main plug (seats were out of a 91 911 turbo)

Hey sam... as always sweet car.
I came across one of your posts asking about what all the wires in the plugs were. Lots of info but the pics were dead links

I think that I just can't feel the heat a) because I was too impatient (waited about 2-3 minutes) or b) the seats were already pretty warm from the sun?

thanks
mike

Hey Mike, thanks. I know they get power from that main plug..however who ever wired my passenger seat did it wrong - as soon as the key is turned the pass seat heats up although its not hot when the car is off. Driver side works fine on/off is easily controlled. Im going to take the pass seat out eventually and fiddle with it. They def. get HOT...you will know when they are on, ask Justin - poor guy rode in my car all the way to Taj with the seat heater on this summer
