I'm wondering if it's possible to fit a late A/C condenser on an early car? I can see the lines are different. Assuming I have the late lines already, will it bolt up otherwise? If its just a bracket issue I can fab something up....I don't understand the price difference....the late one is like $159 from paragon, and the early one is over $400!! I've already spent over $700 on the A/C system alone and I still dont have A/C. I triede pressurizing the system tonight and the air was leaking out as fast as I could put it in. Theres a crack in one of the tubes going into the core.
thanks!
thanks!

ive actually got an early condensor on my 88...it is pretty annoying because the width of the pully is less for the early car...so i have to use the early belt and dont use the full width of the pullys on the alternator or crank

Bump - Anyone? I have a late parts car, a friend needs an early condenser.
Barring that - anyone bought from Mercedes Porsche Recycling on eBay?
