Anyone have an Extra DME for sale?
well my brother brought my dme to work (mechanic)
called me up saying he had it open and that it was smoked...i said 'define smoked'...he replied 'the board is charred were something used to be!'
needless to say i am having problems locating a DME for an 84 944 NA
PM me or point me in the right direction...thx

On ebay you have to search for
944 DME or 944 ECM or 944 computer or 944 ecu
Look at the part number in the picture, make sure it matches. The listings without "DME" in them will generally go for a lower price, like this one:

The only way I heard of the DME getting burned like that is if you are making the path to ground through the DME rather than the negative cable to the chassis/bellhousing. Make sure to sort this out before frying another one.
