Default Banjo bolt cunfusion!!!

My god, it's been a while since i visited rennlist...Work has been keeping me busy...but nEways....

I was taking my 951 for a spin and "a" banjo bolt came off...

So now my car won't idle...the engine dies off...

The reason i say "a" banjo bolt is b/c i recently ordered the replacement bolt...and found out there is more than one type of banjo bolt...

Anyways....the bolt i ordered was TOO big... about 3/16" too big...

The banjo bolt that came off was the banjo bolt that attaches to the intercooler hardpipe that goes from the intercoolor to the turbo charger...

BTW disregard that tin foil tape...It was a preliminary test to see if the hard pipe was leaking... LOL

I can't seem to find the right part number....

Anybody know what that part number is???

It is an 1985.5 944 turbo.

Thanks Everybody,

if no one finds out before i get home, i think i have the reciept from the dealer when i went in to get mine.

get ready to pay about 7-10 bucks for a little piece of metal.

(btw- if you're stuck somewhere, you can still drive it, you'll just get no boost, as all of it will escape from that hole. you have to keep your foot into the gas a little to help it idle)

Now why not install a Lindsey Boost Enhancer while you are at it? It goes right there and makes a nice little performance upgrade by greatly improving boost range. You'll get boost sooner and keep it longer.

Do you happen to have the hose that goes to the banjo bolt?

My car has the LBE installed and the hose has been spliced. I am going to be upgrading the WG shortly and will be installing a black **** to control boost.

If anyone that has a hose laying around, please PM me.

(I have the bolt and washers, not trying to steal parts from beneath you speed demon)

Sorry to raise a dead horse, but what is done with this line when you delete the venturi, and there is no hard pipe plugging into this place? I have silicone hose from lindsey racing, and it says it can go over the banjo on the hard pipe, but i'm having a hard time seeing how that connects.
