Default well that was fast

looks like I'm officially part of the team now.

I just landed a 1988 944 Turbo from e-bay. 85k miles and in great condition.

I hope none of you were the ones I was bidding against. It's located in Michigan. Looks like I'm taking a road trip from Minneapolis next weekend.

wow.

Here it is.

I'm sort of stunned right now. I sniped it at just above the current bid and that never happens.

Congrats! hopefully everything is as described in the auction, great price if so.

Burgundy is probably my least favorite color though

yeah, I had hesitations about the burgundy too. At this point though, it's at the bottom of the list.

Nice car. I hope you don't get it and have to replace everything tho. Not trying to scare you, just hoping. Looks like you snagged a nice car, tho!

welcome and congrats! Intersting color...almost looks like purple metal-flake...not sure I've seen it before. Any idea what options are on the car?

Looks like a good buy if what the seller says is true. Forged sewer lid wheels are a good sign the car's original condition hasn't been messed with. Most people looking to modify a car start by replacing the wheels.

Nice car! Btw, those sewer lids actually don't look as bad as I thought they would on it.

Cool - I like the color - not very common.
Have fun :P
I drove from ATL to west Texas to pick one of mine up...
I guess we are crazy sometimes.
