Overall sounds like you got a great deal, since the car has orginal parts and if you plan to keep it a long while when or if you switch out parts like the wheels or radio you may want to keep the original stuff if you sell the car.

Default head gasket

one cause of overheating is a faulty head gasket .... cooling fans...what else?

After reading many of the posts, I may be okay...maybe just some air in the line.

The temp needle stays between the low and high marks. Mostly low.

But damn, that hood is freakin' HOT after the drive home. And it's been wicked bad humid here the last few days.

yeah my car was mint too- until i got there and the ps, windows, some lights, sunroof, etc etc etc was non-op, broken or hanging out....oh well all fixed now.
