Wear like I'm going to have the same problem soon or maybe it will last a while? I use mine as a daily.... But sounds like an awesome deal.

A little horizontal play is OK, especially if the car is sitting on its rear wheels. If you want to do it in economy mode you could take them all apart, clean and reprease them. If you take them completely apart to get them clean, be sure to use paint to mark the three pieces so you can put them together the same way they came apart. The ***** should be kept in order too but I would not paint them.

Another trick to get more life is to install them turninig the opposite direction so the forward torque is on less worn surfaces.

Easy mode is to buy new axle assemblies and bolt them in.
