If I do this am I selling the Turbo "for cheap"?
Here is what I propose.
There is a list of what was done to the car recently. The shocks and 968 M030 sways have just a couple of thousand miles on them.
Just found out the exhaust stud that i thought backed out snapped. I dont feel like paying for 5-7 hours to have the job done. Take that into account.
If someone is interested in my car, lets talk $$ for the car with the stock seats and no roll bar or strut tower brace.
I am asking $7700 plus a set of M030 sways (used are OK, mine still have the stickers on em), and a set of 4 Koni Yellows (paragon front inserts) in the box, or like mine with very low miles.
Am I wrong to think I could get $7500 for the car with the 69k S2 shocks and sways? This way we both win by not paying for labor twice.
As I type it is at the shop getting a new clutch master and slave from paragon, and a clutch line.
I had the speed force racing high flow cat put back in today so it passes smog. the car comes with the speed force racing test pipe, SFR 3" stainless exhaust, fabspeed downpipe, autothority stage II chips, lindsay boost enhancer, In last 2500 miles belts with 2500 miles on em (you tension em) new water pump, front motor reseal kit, oil cooler seals, in last 10k miles synchros, clutch, etc.
the shocks have less than 3k miles on em, front brakes & rotors less than 2k miles.
The paint is really nice. the sony xplod system sounds great. Interior is very clean, records from the beginning, you get the idea.
So, is this a realistic price? Is anyone interested? How high or low am I? I will turn the S2 into my DE toy if the Turbo sells.

The C70 is pretty invisible so it should do well at the trian station. One car instead of three will free up driveway space... life will be good. life is good!

S2 for DE? I always thought S2 for autocross, Turbo for DE.. although I've used the Turbo at an autocross and no problems.
Oh yea, you will not have that car for long at that price

That sounds like a very good deal. If I was remotely close to being in the market I would take a real serious look. I think there is a good chance to find a buyer quickly at that price. Make sure it is on the Rennlist classifieds - that's how I found mine... Always nice to buy from a fellow enthusiast.

What is funny is the day after I bought the car a fellow rennlister offered me 10k for it. It had the stock seats in it.
Since then I replaced the windshield, front brakes & rotors, clutch master & slave and put all of 1000 or 1500 miles on it (two trips to pocono 250 miles, three days of DE = less than 300 miles and some local stuff say 300 miles).
If someone came up with 8500 they could have the car without the roll bar or strut tower brace, and i will do the work on the S2 myself. I figured the suspension parts cost about $1000 new. Hence, my 7700 and the parts.
I have to stay married, and losing some money on the turbo is the cheaper way to go.
