Default Garage 9 Dash Trim Pics

As many of you know, I can't seem to leave my interior well enough alone. I recently added the 'carbon fiber' dash trim and brushed aluminum shifter console trim from Garage 9 and thought some of you might like seeing some much better sized pictures than what they post on their site. Enjoy.

Here's my inspiration:

looks classy, but a bit much imo, looks like a party, way too many things going on.

A 930 wheel would look 100 times better IMO, but your interior kicks ***, good job.

That looks great... Not to big on the brushed aluminum though. Really does look like the Ferrari.

Looks like real CF to me -- nice. If it's NOT real, ditch it immeed. Looks great tho.

Not too big on the brushed Al shifter console but I definitely commend your work, sir.

Greg, if there is a better looking 951 interior out there, I sure haven't seen it. Excellent work!

I can't wait to see it in person. Very clean, great pedal set. Who did your dash?

That interior looks WONDERFUL...I've long been considering the aluminum trim. Don't listen to the others they're just jealous

It really does look like the Ferrari. Except (gasp) better.

Hey Greg, I too think the steering, though good seems a bit ... hmmm... big or bulky, but rest assured the interior is definitely banging. Great job, i hope i can get my interior to look at least half as good as yours eventually.

Thanks all. Let's see, let me try and answer the questions:

1. No, it's not 'real' CF it's more like flexile plastic, kind of hard to describe.
2. The dash: Rob Budd at 928 Leather did the dash and the console
3. Aluminum shifter console: That really is brushed aluminum. I'm not completely sold on it yet either, which explains why I have a complete extra set of dash and console trim :-)
4. Shift boot: Also Rob Budd at 928 Leather
5. Pedals: Rennline

As for the steering wheel, the big trick is that the airbag is in place and active. And, well, I like it :-)

Seriously, thanks for the feedback. I really should quit messing with it. Like I said, I'm not completely sold yet either but thought I'd share so everyone could decide for themselves. Funny thing is, I like the CF trim much better than I thought I would and like the brushed aluminum less. Just have to give it some time, maybe I'll swap out the pieces for the stock stuff every 6 months just to amuse myself, LOL.
