I was at Allied machine shop watching someone mag particle inspect a 36,000 lb turbo shaft.

Serge's droplinks have made a HUGE difference in my handling -- combined with my sway bar upgrade the difference in my handling and maneuverability in corners was DRASTICALLY improved. I recommend these for anyone with a 944, especially fellow track enthusiasts.

mine were not teflon lined, they were lined with oil and made in china

All of them are made in china - always have been. All of them have been teflon lined (or should have from the factory). I've only used non teflon lined rod ends on some of my BMW links which necessitated non-metric hardware. They come oil misted from the factory to further prevent corrosion.
