Default '84 Rear Wheel Bearing Question, their NEW but pass side still has play

Hello All,
Just wondering if anyone out there has seen this. Replaced wheel bearings late last year, only driven maybe 1000 miles. Drivers side is fine, but I noticed today that the pass side has alot of play (hold tire at 12 & 6 o'clock). I had borrowed a 3/4 drive torque wrench and torqued them to the 300+ something spec.

Any comments?

Thanks,
Todd

I should have checked before sending my original question. I just removed the wheel and found that the nut was only finger tight !!! The cotter pin was installed after I torqued them last time. Very strange.

You need to replace the spacers also on the early cars. They're a bit of a pain to source, as a dealer-only item, but they must be replaced or else moisture will rust out the bearings and ruin them again. BTDT.
