Car started then died. Not DME relay (it is the computer!)

I've come to the conclusion that this is most likely the issue with my car, after checking everything else.

Judd - could you please tell me which type of soldier, and soldering tool you used? I wish to fix my baby this weekend!

Well, I slapped another DME computer into my car today - and she hasn't stalled yet!
Going to take baby steps here, since it had deteriorated over a year. I'm going to see if I can repair the old one (sounds like I should be able to).
I just can't say how wonderful it was to hear her not choke and wheez, upon start up, and no more running rough, nor me fighting to keep it running and flooding the car. Now, if it will stay this way, I'll be delighted!

sorry I did not respond to this earlier. I do not check the 944 board every 2 hours like I used to.
I just used some crappy harbor freight soldering iron. use a really thin solder. that is all you will need.
