"Keep your pimp hand strong"

May sound weird but paint thinner will take that right off and won't harm the clear coat.

"WATCH THE DOOR, LADY!" I start screaming.
The taxi driver starts askign me "Did she hit, did she hit?" as my wife is apologizing to the taxi driver and I'm saying "OF COURSE SHE HIT!"

And the lady never even said a word to me, despite the bright YELLOW spot she's left on the side of my car, which she looked directly at.

I come home, call Yellow Cab, and tell them they're going to take care of the incident I've had with Car #414.
Off to the body shop. Screw a detailer. They're gunna pay for this one.

Next time, don't park so close!
I came out one morning to some construction guy sawing with a buzzsaw, and spraying the dust all over my car. Seeing as how the day before that I spent probably one and a half hours washing it... I started yelling "Hey You!! What are you doing?! He quickly stopped and said "sawing." After yelling at him a bit about how he couldn't do it on the entire acre he had access to, or even ASK me to move it, he said he was very sorry, and that I had a right to be mad, it was a "nice car." At least he had some remorse though, he did seem like the type of old guy thats not all there.

I've gone ape**** on a few of those leaf-blower people that clean parking lots before.

We have a big get together on the 2nd saturday of each month at a local burger drive-in. Last time we were there, the leaf-blowers were out and the owner asked them to stop when he saw how visually nervous we were all getting...

Looks like they're going to cut me a check without even sending someone out, since the estimates don't vary hugely.
When I told him the first estimate amount, the guy was like "Oh, that's not too bad....go get another one please, and if it's close, no problemo"
This is yoru insurance or the cab company's insurance?

If you accept the $852 and then rub the stupid thing out yourself... where I come from that makes you a low down bloddy theif. Scum like that is what's wrong with the world today. Did you even try to wash it off yet with soap and water? You are not driving a ford GT here.

Derickl- What the hell? That's called hustling man. Gotta make money some way. I call it smart. Get your 850 bucks, then wax it off as best you can and live with it, because in the end, you'll profit 850 bucks and only be charged 15 mins time and a little ding. Big deal.

Also, your right, he's not driving a Ford GT...he's driving something BETTER!

Wolfe- That thing looks to be about as tall as the key for your door lock, and maybe 3 times as wide as your key. Wax that crap off and pocket the money. lol. You probably can't even see it from 10 feet away.

To a degree i agree more with derick than i do you carbon. Things like youa re suggesting is why insurance adjusters and companies themselves are so ****. Last I checked it wasn't admirable to "hustle". Earn your money, don't take what you don't deserve.

Before this goess anymore OT.. He never said he was looking to pocket money.

Yeah, I've washed my car six times since it happened, M'kay? And it ain't coming off.
WHile the paint isn't flawless, it's pretty damn good. And I want it to stay that way. The car is washed a couple times a week, minimum, and waxed at least once every two weeks.

Washing won't do a thing. 3M Imperial compound will.

Yea, washing/waxing wont do anything. You need a polishing compound. That should come off no problem. I personally would try a claybar first then try a light polishing compound, and move on tho harder compounds.

As previously noted. It WILL NOT wash off. Start with a good polishing compound and get more aggressive from there if you have to. It really isn't a big deal if it's simply paint transfer.
