Default WTB: 88 N/A pistons

I am currently rebuilding my 88 n/a engine and found some damage on the 2 of my pistons. Basically I need 2 good 88 pistons as soon as possible since only two of my 88's are good now.

edit...looking for tolerance group 0.

Thanks

I have one available, however it is tolerance group 1. Let me know if you end up needing it.

It's my understanding the tolerance group 0 pistons are pretty rare. I went through the stuff I have in the basement, I have a full set of 1 and a couple of 2, but no 0. I found 3 turbo pistons, no idea where they came from.

I have a completely rebuilt 0 mile Euro NA motor if you're interested. Would save you some cash over a rebuild

For us ignorant folk, how do you tell if the piston is tolerance group 0 1 2 or 3 and how much should we care? I have a set of pistons but I couldn't tell you what group they're from.

tomrc,

there should be a number stamped on top of the piston; 0, 1 or 2.

mpd47,

that'd be great but i'm building a spec car so I can't use it.
