Default Euro bumper help bracket question

Could someone verify that these are what I need to attach a european bumper to an early 944?
Thanks!

Yes, they look like the euro mounts I have. But the one that accepts the tow-hook is totally different.

Ok, i missed that auction but there are many on ebay UK, do I need the different looking tow bracket one? Some auctions have two mounts that look the same and some have one long one and one short one. Could you clarify what I need/should have to attach my bumper? Thanks!

The '86 thru '91 euro cars had a tow-hook fitting on the rear bumper, earlier cars did not and used two short mounts. The long mount accepts the tow-hook and the bumper had a hole drilled in it with a plastic cap to hide it when not in use. Early bumper uses two short mounts, late bumper uses one of each. You can still use two shorts to mount a late euro bumper, you just won't have the tow-hook option. I have a late bumper with the tow-hook mount, just gotta paint it to match. Awesome upgrade.

ok, I'm still a bit confused. The longer mount is for the rear only? Are the short mounts the same front and rear? I need to mount a front bumper do I need 2 short mounts? Thanks for you help! I bought a Euro bumper in the states that did not come with brackets and have no idea what I need.

You need a long mount for the tow eye and a short mount in order to mount the front bumper.

Longer mount is for the front also. You'll need 1 of each for the front. It actually started in '86 for the rear tow-hook.

The short brackets can be used on front or rear. I'm not sure if that'os the case with the tow hook brackets. The euro bumpers really do clean up the appearance of the car - the way Porsche intended it to look!

I'm really excited, I've always liked the Euro bumper much better but they are so expensive. I found one locally and couldn't pass it up. I also just secured a set of brand new driving lights!!!

Great! I waited patiently for a reasonably priced one to show up on e-bay UK. It need some fiberglass repairs but nothing too difficult. Those driving lights work very well too. Post some pix when you have it on there....

I'll post a pic when it is on, I still need to get it painted but shouldn't be too long.
