DME relay is $20, no excuse not to have one.
hm... well that is reassuring BUT today I put it on a lift and pressurized the tank to see if there were any exterior leaks because there were no other signes of a blown HG. Sure enough I either have a loose upper radiator/a.c(assuming) hose or a crack in the radiator and seeing as this is my only car for about... the next week I guess I wont be making any trips other than school/gas and home. (yeah... Im a student ) Ill just have to keep a super close eye on the fluid level... good thing is it doesnt drop too terribly fast.

And I will pick up a spare DME just as soon as I find a parts shop in town haha.
There is one... so It'll work out

EDIT: it is coming from somewhere near the top right (driverside) of the radiator... but because of lack of time, I could not disassemble anything enought to tell where it was coming from along the height of the radiator
thanks

Correct.

The 944 I had developed the same problem. I kept commuting with it anyway, and I just added water every day. My mom's 944 just had the same problem in January, and she kept driving it like that until April. Keep a close eye on the temp and never, ever let it overheat. Or else you WILL have a blown head gasket.

The cheapest new radiator I've found for an early NA is at http://www.overnightradiator.com/
