Late seats had the arms like your seats, Sam. Earlier seats had the arms that were fully covered by the flat plastic handle. Awesome seats! I am envious.

I was feeling good about my seats, but those make my sports look like Star Jones. It's hard to keep up with you Sam. When did Buxton start dealing in Pathfinders?

Puh-lease! Your seats look awesome as does your entire interior...not to mention the engine bay.

I did the Buxton plate as a joke, Im sure he would kill me if he knew I was promoting the company on the P-finder...I like the subtle humor The PCA sticker has got to make people laugh as well.

Thanks! Question though: I had a set of 86 script sports and they did not have the handles like these do..nor the switch plates. By late what years are you referencing by saying "late"? TIA-

I'm not exactly sure what year was the cutoff for the changes but early seats mounted the seat motors hanging from the frame that crosses the front of the seat. The frame looks like a pyramid with the top cut off and the motors are mounted with a 'U' bolt. On the later seats, like yours, the frame that runs across the front is flat except it dips down where the motors are mounted. The motors are not mounted using the 'U' bolts but they are screwed in from the top.

Im hoping they are but it shouldnt be hard to wire up if they arent. A local rennlisters canadian spec n/a had seat heaters so Ive got my fingers crossed they are all wired for it just didnt get the "heat" seat option.
The seat heaters are powered off the same harness that powers the seat motors. I bought the same seats you have, except in tan/beige, and they were direct plug and play. Make sure you put a fuse in the appropriate slot (it's marked in the fuse box) and you're good to go.

Are your motors hanging from the frame mounted with 'U' bolts or do they sit on the frame?

Thanks Dan. I loved the Bimmer but the S2K has like 70k less miles and is 5 years newer...(and is a blast to drive).

Installed the seats last night with BK tunnel mounts, was looking forward to driving it but it looks like its going to rain all week..
