Default Early cars and power seats?

I have full manual seats in my early '85; was wondering if they came with wiring provisions for power seats. I haven't popped the seats out to look or anything crazy; was wondering if any of you early drivers had power seats in yours.

I don't believe so, or at the very least... they didn't come with the harness if the car wasn't originally equipped. I just bought a new set of seats for my 84/944 and the drivers side was an 8-way power seat. But... there was no wiring provisions under the carpet.

All it really needs though is a ground and a positive.

I do not think any early cars had power seats from the factory, nor did they come with the wiring. I do have power seats in my early 85 but I had to wire them myself, not plug and play but not that difficult.

Get a new wire and run it from the battery, through the firewall and under the carpet; voila, power seats.
