However, I believe those specs are far from optimum for RA1s on an autocross/DE setup 944, no matter how many of them I own.

Is there any advantage to having toe out on a mostly street, alot of auto-x some DE car? I think next time i go in for a alignment i am going to ask for the toe to be set as close to zero as possible and run around 1.75 degrees camber front and around 1.50 rear. Caster will be left at 3 degrees.

I would not use toe-out on a car that sees any street time. It will cause it to tram-line, and can/will really follow ruts in the road. Tire construction, brand, compound etc can really make tram-lining a problem (some tires will be worse than others, with the same alignment specs). Car can feel nervous/twitchy even at regular highway speeds.

I dont think it offers a significant enough turn-in improvement (arguably) for track or auto-x use, to offset the problems its causes on the street for a dual use car. You can set it close to zero, and err on the toe-in side; but I would not recommend going with a toe-out setup.

i run a tiny amt of toe out- 2 degrees camber is not crazy- i would go with that believe me ive had that on two cars and tire wear etc is not affected, esp not the way i drive.
