Default I know this is hard to believe,

but,
I actually fixed something on my 944!
For someone who's mechanical ability rests with, 'Oh! The orange light's on. Must pour petrol somewhere and hope it soaks in!' or 'Is the temp guage supposed to be that high? Maybe I should pour some of that green stuff in the yellow plastic thingy in the engine bay?'
Car was stalling, idle revs were like, below 200rpm.
Removed air filter and hoses. Put new tape around vacuumn hose I know has a possible leak (must get a new one next time the car is serviced! ), cleaned the air filter, sorta.
Goes like a dream. No problems.
I am so GGGOOOOODDDDDD!!!!!!!
Next on the menu: an oil change, or maybe not.
