Default 250 lbs. Weltmeister springs. Will 215/60/R15 tires rub with these on?

I was looking at clearances on my car and taking some measurements. The car looks low already with 220lb. H&R springs. I am wondering if 250 lb. Welmeisters would rub with my factory tire size. Any thoughts?

You have to keep in mind that it's a stiffer spring and won't allow the tire to push upwards as easily. I don't think you'll have an issue.

Very true. I'm also going to have the car realigned and the camber set at -1.5 degrees. Perhaps that will help the sidewalls clear a little bit better too.

I was running 225/50/15 and then 235/45/16's on my early car with the 250# welts. No issues. You may need to dial in a bit of camber, but nothing too excessive - I was running around 1.5 - 2 degrees.

I've got the 250lbs springs on my 944 -82, running 225-45-17, theres no way it can rub cause the car is as high as it was with the original springs (30mm lower my ***).

So I'm rebuilding to coil-overs in the front.

I run those springs on my 87 n/a. No clearance problems with 245/45/16.
