Ive had quite the last few months of selling and buying, buying and selling to end up with no seats in my car and a claim check from FedEx for a lost set of one-off Recaro SPGs..

anyways Im looking at a set of 91 911 turbo leather seats and they are 8 way power - will these work in our cars (86 951) - ie are they wired just the same as any porsche seats from the 80s-90s and will actually have 8 way power functions when retrofitted to a 44? I know they will bolt-in.

that sucks! dude, get some race seats- cant run harnesses w/o them.

- im sure you could make them work w/ cuztom plugs if they are not the same though, pretty simple wiring.

 

I know, I had a pretty sweet set nailed down. New SPGs with the sides wrapped in leather (seating surface still cloth), had the brackets/sliders all ready to go. Really is a shame.

For the time being I gotta get something and the ones Im looking at are very nice, just want to see if the plugs are the same and if the functions will all work...

 

Yep, my 993 seats are 8 way power on both sides, the connector is exactly the same, and all the power works.
