Default Do I need anything else?

I tried searching the bajillion threads on manual roofs but they weren't too clear for me to understand...

Are those latches the only parts I need to make the manual sunroof conversion? They are the latches that mount on the roof panel itself. Is there some other part that mounts on the car side to secure the roof in place?

That's all you need but I would never pay that much for a set. Then again if you want them bad enough go for, looks like he's repainted them or something though. No other part need for the panel between the SR and hatch.

If you just go with the latches, and you have a late car, they will rub on the sunroof liner. You'll either need an early liner or will have to lightly mod yours.

My track car has no roof liners of any kind, and I ended up making a spacer out of some scrap metal for each side, maybe 2mm thick or so. The roof would stay shut without it but it had a little play... with the spacers the fit is good and tight. Basically you need some short scrap aluminum or steel and a drill.

If you have a late car the early liner will not fit a later SR panel, there's a reinforcing bar on the later version that keeps it from fitting. It's better to try and remove the plastic pins that hold the liner to the SR. You can carefully remove some of the fiber board where the latches rest closed and re-glue the vinyl down. I didn't do it to mine and they work fine, a little off center but who looks under you sunroof anyway? I have an early manual SR panel I'm painting if I do the manual conversion the the new car. Here's what it should look like closed without modifying the liner:

Early SR panel:

Late SR panel:
