Today I finnaly got around to installing all of the stereo stuff Ive been collecting over the last few months. Everything works great Except that the sirius unit creates a buzzing noise in the system when its on. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it? Heres what got installed today:
Blaupunkt Casablanca cd51 Headunit (thanks techno duck)
Polk audio 6.5" speakers (in rear)
Pioneer 4x6 speekers (in doors)
Alpine amp (powering polks)
Sirius Starmate 4 Satelite radio
anyway here's some pics:

No It stays where it is The wiring coming out of the back prevented me from laying it down any more. I can remove the unit grom its dock if I need to, Bbut I doubt I ever will need to. I took her for a drive when I was finished and it was never in my way.

Thats pretty creative, I like it. why didn't you go with bigger speakers? or is that a future mod. And another suggestion, You might want to make it into a triangle, and cover up the amp and the back of the speakers. Not much more work for a much better look...

You need to build a box around those speakers to enclose the back, otherwise you're pushing air on both the front and the back sides....there's a good reason speakers are in enclosures.
