Default Found very nice S2 w/ konis LSD option

I found this car for sale yesterday, thought it looked very nice. Taken care of, I talked to him and it has sport shock konis and 220 option LSD transaxle! Very rare and the seats were recovered and look new.
Heres the link:

Actually I believe that LSD transaxle was offered more in the Cabs for some reason. Nice car though

I remember looking at that car before he bought it. The PO was driving it with a piston problem so I'm guessing John took her apart and brought her back to life. Anyway that car was in very good cosmetic condition when I saw it last summer. The PO's ID is matts2turbo, if you want to read up.

Nope, I have a diff on the shelf awating install. I figured if it's in very good condition, it's the perfect car for Shawn to part out!

Actually Keith that guy John in Napa did buy that other red 944 S2 with the bad engine. But this is not it he has had this car for several years! He ended up buying a wrecked '89 turbo S and installing the drivetrain and suspension in that S2 but this S2 he has for sale is all original and a true 9 out of 10 very clean and very well taken care of.

On a side note I have had 2 personal 944 S2's both '89 coupes and I have taken apart 3 other 944 S2 coupes and cabs. I also have a good friend who has a 1991 cab with sport seats option code and none of these cars I repaet NONE of them had 220 option code. So maybe its an east coast thing but there are more S2's without them then with! Also that bad engine S2 that John did the turbo S transplant into didnt have 220 but it does now!

ive had three S2s, two 89s and a 90. all coupes, all without LSD.

dont forget the S2 listed for about 10k more than a NA. Add 750 for metallic paint and you know why so many are white, black and red. the car was about 10-15k more than the new 300ZX.

How much was LSD? My 89 RX7 convertible had seats like Porsche's sport seats, glass rear window, LSD, a better - much better stereo. The MSRP was 27k. The window sticker from my "base" 90 S2 is 43K. I think the RX7 Turbo was +- 2k the sticker of the convertible.

Not all S2 cabs have LSD. Out of the 4 I've driven, none have had LSD

OOPS my bad. I can't believe someone in my little boring town has a 951 cup and a 951 cab.
