Yes, he blasted it first...it was quite pitted, and had some scuffs. All in all, it looks 100% better than before...not perfect but OK.

I think the outcome is largely based upon the condition of the cover before hand. If I was going really crazy I would have bought a brand new cover.

they are all pitted and look like crap before coating, you would've wasted your money buying a brand new one. one thing he could have done to make it look better is to add lab metal to the pits and cracks.

It loos nice but why blue? Honestly, blue makes no sense to me on a red car. Black with red lettering, red with black, either color with silver but blue?

I liked the blue cuz its different.I thought of red, but everyone else does red or silver, etc.
