As others have mentioned, make sure you actually measure the stall. Most mini storage units are not actually 15' internal space. The external dimensions of the building are probably 30' and they split it down the middle and when you include the garage door and 2x4" walls, its really difficult to fit a 944 in them. I did find a unit one time that was a true 15' internal, and the car fit fine. But when looking for storage, I have taken a tape measure with me, and more often than not, the car would not fit.

Good point on the block walls taking out space - mine had a corrugated metal divider wall - I simply pushed the car against it to gain an inch or two!
