Kevin:
I also have been in contact with Kyle who is going to stop by this weekend for me. Actually, he believes it is the same car his buddy had looked at but not 100% sure. The owner informed me that it has a linkage issue and needs a battery. May be the shifter, could be the clutch???
However a second pair of eyes is always appreciated. He is planning on being their on Saturday at noon, if that’s not feasible that’s fine. I thank you for your assistance…the lobster and steak dinner on me proposal is still there.

No problem Alex. I won't be there on Saturday as I'll still be in Atlanta. Let me know if you need me to go look at it again, but believe me Kyle is just as good with these cars as I am so he won't lead you wrong.
Kyle why is your car apart?

Hey, just a note to smokintr6, sharkey47, hockeydude and others; they DID give us our own PCA region - it's called Mid-Ohio, and a LOT of us own front-engined cars. Some of us even race them. The two-term past president rebuilds his daily driver 928 engines in his basement, for example.
And for driving, there will be 20+ cars exploring the back roads this Sunday on the way to dinner at Claudaugh's.
You ought to try it - if you can stand some of us "old" folks <G>. It's ain't about where your engine is - it's about where your head is.

An ex-MOR guy here to Mr. Schultz. They have some neat events and great folks.
Kyle, to answer your question, another Alan popped in here, Dr.Alan White, (dralwhite) was at 'Fest 05 and won the saratoga top. He drives a 968 IIRC. By his post count I'm guessing he's a lurker extraordinaire.
