Also keeping the engine bay cooler, but everything in there works fine at the regular temps.

I did it just because my headers were rusty and gross and I wanted to clean them up. The lower engine bay temps couldn't have hurt. I didn't expect nor did I recieve any power from coating them.

Don't know how much horsepower it will increase on your motor, although there will be SOME benefit in power.

Mostly though, the decreased underhood temperatures will greatly extend the life of everything in the engine bay, hoses, belts, etc. Not only that, but your motor will run slightly cooler as well. You'll ALSO be helping your catalytic converter to function better as well.

All in all, what it costs (to have it done locally) is worth the overall benefit.
