It's a Dynocom dyno and boost was 0.97 bar. I didn't tune it on the dyno (in winter I'll do that some time), to get the torque curve more flat and perhaps gain some Nm where the engine's maximum VE is (around 3500-4000). But those power figures and boost clearly show that 924 head is very crappy flowing and that ONLY way to make some power over stock is boosting it

That is one sweet fecking 924! I was wondering if those 951 Calipers need any modification to fit? I have a 924S, and I really want them on my car!!! What was the price?

I fitted ally rear arms to the rear, calipers are bolt-on on both types of arms.

Fronts needed adapters for the calipers to fit because I didn't use 951 spindles due to speedo cable issue. And 944 spindles needed modifying by heating and bending steering rack ball joint mounts. Otherwise thicker rotor touches the ball joint. So far no issues.

And it's faster than stock 931 for instance
Hrmm.... 1,270 EU... so that's... what? ...15,000USD by now?

i hadn't seen this thread before, so this may be belated, but that's awesome!

out of curiousity, what is the braided line seen coming out of the turbo and over hte master cylinder? Oil return line? If so, how are you scavenging it? Mostly asking out of curiousity, but also interested as I have been somewhat tempted to work on a turbo kit for my 2.5 n/a and the oil part would (I think) actually be one of hte more challenging components of turbocharging the car (the other part would be mapping fuel so I don't blow up my engine/car/self)

Thanks

It's oil feed line from the T in the back of the head, fitted to the oil pressure sender hole.

Car is running fine, I'm going to install Spec Stage III clutch next week on it and drive this summer with it (after that 2.5 16v turbo engine is going in together with Holset HX40 turbo) and this dribetrain is going to another 924 body.

So far best 0-100 kph has been 5,5 seconds (measured with Driftbox) and best ET 13,76 @ 168 kph.

cool...thanks. Out of curiousity, where did your oil return line end up going?

definitely kee pthe updates coming on the 2.5 16v turbo. I've just finished a project building a turbocharged 600cc engine for an FSAE racecar, and I must admit to having a bit of an itch to turbo my car (unfortunately, I don't have a wallet or workspace to match the itch, but soon I hope...)

Oil return line is going into oil pan just above the crossmember. Tapped a bung there for the 16mm hose.
