Racing Vehicle Dynamics
If any of you remember, a while back I was asking about good books to learn about the 944's suspension. Several of you suggested Millekens "Race Car Vehicle Dynamics," and you were correct, this is a great book! It is very technical and does involve alot of math, but its a no gimmicks book. Im on the 3rd chapter and already know 10X more than I used to. Thanks for the tip on this book, everyone with a 944 should consider reading it!

Lol... you'd be hard pressed to find that book for under $80, even used. It's the holy grail of chassis design, and is considered the single best source for design equations.
I have it... but I'm sure as hell not reading it front to back. It's a few pages short of a thousand pages!
It's a must-have for anyone doing frame design or suspension design.

I have it somewhere...I have not looked at it in a long time but it's a great book. Used to read pieces often when I thought (I'm an ME) I wanted to go in to the automotive field....little did I know I'd wind up in construction and be successful!
