Is there even such a thing on 944s?
Car ran fine before the accident, and has the alarm bypassed due to being hit around the alarm switch. It only fires once or twice when the key is turned.
As such, I severely doubt that it's the DME, DME relay, ref sensors, or alarm. It makes sense that the fuel pump would shut off (if these cars came with such a switch).
Thanks.

I have the wiring diagrams for '88, none shown there execpt DME relay. I would start with a new or known good DME relay, which you should carry anyway. The alarm could be a possibility. Got a noid light? Best $10 for a non OBDII car you can spend for diagnosing problems.
