Default WTB: 16 x 7/8 late offset phonies and 89 transaxle

The wheels I think I have a chance of finding.

I want an "ASH" code transaxle. It has the NA gearing and final drive according to clark's of the years 1989-1991 (which doesn't make sense to me since I thought 944 production stopped in 1989 MY) and LSD. Yeah laugh away I know it is a shot in the dark but I gotta at least ask, right?

I think you are looking for an S2 transmission, the gearing is similar or the same to an NA, it sure feels the same.

S2 trans are AOS and AOT coded. Gearing and R/P are both a little taller for the S2 vs an N/A trans.

The desired N/A trans are the ones out of a 924S, '88-89 944 N/A - those all have the shorter 5th gear. There are two case codes that use the short 5th and have LSD, 5Z and ASH.
