Ninefofo got some new kicks...
BFGoodrich g-Force Sport 225/50/15 all around on 7 & 8 Fuchs. I got them yesterday. I did a little wet testing (rare round these parts). I did a little dry testing today. Intial impressions: Very smooth, grippy and centered. I definitely feel the gearing change on takeoffs, etc. with the 50 series. Well, going from 65's, I guess I should. Excellent price: $497 and change OTD. I will address ride height when I get around to struts/shocks. First, I have Rennbay's Super Deluxe Ball Joint kit en route along with some fresh front wheel bearings.

nice, thanks for the pic. I've been considering those for my fuchs, actually 205/55-15 for the 7" fronts. Now that I see them installed I may change my mind about the smaller fronts. As for the price, discount tire has them for $328 and free shipping, sorry. How many RPMs are you turning at 70mph?

I was thinking 205's but some listers, principally Joe P, convinced me this is a more balanced set-up. Also, I was concerned about front plowing but these do not have any issues there. The $497 included mounting, balancing, and tax. Tirerack has them for $88 per. After I factored in shipping and mounting, the price was too close not to spend the money locally.

I plan on painting the centers and polishing the rims directly, Sir.

A little off topic, gratuitous and defensive: But I did manage to dress up my center console with a new shift **** (my 9th) and some paint on the shift surrond if that counts towards my dirty fuchs. I went with a stainless **** (instead of alu.) and I am happy with the more solid feel of the shifter (so far).

You can eat my new **** . Yeah, I can't get that part of the car sorted out and I hated the OE ****. Actually, the shifter is cut way down.

Is that deckplate? Last time I checked the logo across the back didn't spell out Jeep.
As for the boot, just wrinkle it up a bit and it'll look fine. After 9 ***** you know the drill.

It is deck/diamond plate. I eliminated the center speaker control and the stock carpet looked like ***. So, I had this piece of aluminum diamond plate laying around.... A piece of black burlwood will get in there eventually.
