Hi!

This is my new 968 coupe, the rear shelf for some reason is only a peice of cloth material hanging by the rear window which is now in a very poor state. Could anyone here can tell me where I can find a replacement or even better if there is a lugguage cover as stated in the owner's hand book!

Are you saying that your trunk consists of a piece of cloth stretched between the window and the seat? Or is the luggage cover just beat up?

There is a peice of cloth stretching between the rear window and the seat. Very strange, it is now very worn and torn. I would imagine that the luggage cover should be in leather like Upvc hard wearing stuff but this is definitely clothlike material. Isn't that odd?

Not odd at all. The luggage cover is canvas. Most are in pretty poor shape by now, so the dealer is likely your best source for a replacement; I don't think you'll have much luck on e-bay.

Mine was removed from the car and stored in a dirty shed. Luckilly, the cloth cleaned up pretty well, but all of the rivets are rusted. If I feel ambitious, I might try to replace them, but it's pretty far down the list of priorities. I just leave it out.
