Default Which 924S Fuel Lines?

I just finished putting my engine back together and i started her up, she runs great! except that now there is a leak in my fuel line... I've visited all the normal sites to find new fuel lines, i need to know that they will work, because on my 944 the fuel lines come over the head, and on my 924S they come from under the brake booster. So does anybody know which fuel lines i need to purchase? i'd love to get either the lindsey racing SS or the rennbay high temp. Thanks

Nobody makes a kit for them. That's a DIY job. Someone on here had a nice setup.

Everything is for the late cars, because of the faulty jumper line and because the lines see more heat due to the exhaust manifold.

i bought some high pressure FI line from autozone- dont quote me it was like 5/16" or something... i cut the crimps off each end of both lines and pulled the rubber off- put the new hose on and double clamped everything- been working for 3+ years now no problems on our 924s.

There was someone here who did a DIY setup for a late car but that could easily be adapted to an early car. Basically he cut off the old lines, flared the lines and then used AN fittings and hose the rest of the way.

shouldnt need to flare anything the early lines have barbed lines w/ crimp on fittings. Cut the fittings, slide the hose over the barb and clamp. Easy as....

Early hoses are 1 piece to the suspension, the rear suspension needs to be dropped to change them, and the return line is no longer available.

sorry i didnt get to you in time but basically - cut the crimp off i used a hacksaw blade- basically split it longways and twist it off- pull the hoses off, take them to autozone and get some high pressure fuel line the closest size to it- and some clamps. PUsh the new hose on, trim to fit and two clamps at each end.

Which line is leaking?

If its the supply fuel line, not the return line, then I have a replacement I can send you.

IF it will fit your car though.

Look under the driver's side of the car, trace the fuel supply line and see if it connects to a connection block, or if its one solid line all the way back.

If its a connection, I have the OEM replacement fuel line, brand new.

If its one solid piece all the way back, then do as above....cut it where it joints the metal section of the line near the firewall and slide over a high pressure fuel line over the remaining barb, clamp tight and you are set.

Yes, cut both sides and there will be a barb on both ends. You can reuse the connector to the fuel rail.

I have the OE replacement lines thanks to the PO. I have been told that the total cost of replacement was well over $100.

both ends of the supply line have a barbed fitting under the crimp- and the return line does at the firewall, it has a "nipple" at the rail. ONly need one clamp on the return lines.

last night i was able to get the fuel lines, and you were correct, they are 5/16" Right now i'm just having a grand ole time trying to cut the ends in half... i'm going to have to pick up a smaller hack saw.
