Dash Lights...

Hey guys,
The lights I have in my dash gauges are pathetic. I just completely rebuilt them, cleaned all the bulbs with a rag, and only the warning lights are bright. I can barely see the gauges however. I'm wondering if it's either the fader on my headlight switch, or if maybe there is a brighter bulb I can use to replace the ones that are in there now?
Thanks!

I just did the clarks writeup way with aluminum foil and taping it in place and it is amazingly bright compared to how they were before. I can actually see when they are turned on during the day.
Just make sure you do a very good job of cleaning off the clear reflectors and not scratching them up.

Thanks for the advice guys... I actually have an early 944 (pre 85.5).
I'm thinking it might be my headlight switch though... We'll see when I get it in the mail and installed!
I might consider upgrading to slightly higher wattage bulbs like they suggested.
