Ah, kwel, than Ich kahn continue my project today.

Thanks. Obviously I don't need it, guess I'll keep it with my growing collection. Amazing how many little motors are all over this car.

I pulled all my power sunroof crap... it sat around for a while doing nothing in a box. While you're at it make sure to pull the cable guide tubes in the arch going to the sunroof arms, and all the arms and such. Get some manual latches and you'll be all set, and 5 pounds lighter.

I ended up shipping all my power sunroof crap to a fellow 'lister for the cost of shipping. Not gonna do me any good sitting in a box, and I'd rather have it go to use than to sit in a box doing nothing for me while I wait for someone to give me 20 bucks.

When you are done just make a post with all the extra crap you have... some is worth $$$, some is not. But the vultures here will snap up most of it regardless.... in fact I am preparing such a post for later today.

I can't get a real good look at that mount. Looks a little light duty for a video camera. Is that the luggage cover carrier still attached?

No, A 1/16" x 1/2" Aluminum C channel replaces the tonneau cover housing. The one on the rear deck is mounted in two threaded mounts that go figure, take 5/8" bolts, not metric.

More C channels will be used to "box" in the already mounted C channels, to which will be attached the aluminum piece seen intersecting the C rails in the picture. I used factory mounting points thinking they offered the most secure place to fasten the rails.

Here are a couple of close ups of the mounting points. All this may just be a waste of time, but I hope not.
