I'll let this near new Momo Tornado go for $50/ OBO. It clashes with my 20th Century hands.

+1 for the Prototipo. Good enough for a 917, good enough for me!

Sadly it is an automatic 86 944. I'm one of the few with autos on this board.

LOL, the airbag is hooked up. Fortunately for me I haven't hit anything hard enough to know whether it works but it is wired in and the airbag light (after I reset it) is off.

Here's a link to the How To I did a few months ago when I installed the 3 spoke wheel, it should give you everything you need. That said, I'm happy to help if anyone has other questions. Be forewarned, the 3 spoke wheels can be had fairly inexpensively but the airbags don't come cheap...

This thread made me realize that I don't have any real pictures of my interior, so here is one I just took out in the garage. Unfortunatly the flash didn't mix well with the metal and shinyness of the wheel, so its somewhat blurry, but you get the idea. Pardon the disassembled interior. And yes, that is the turbo logo for the horn button.

I think the stock wheel does the job fine, but if you have to upgrade then I would go with the sparco monza. .02

I went with the momo race in the 944 and it looks great and it gives more knee room but the dia is a but small. I just bought a 930 wheel from a lister for the 968, (didn't realize I'd have a horn, signal problem though).

Bill, I'm sorry to say but that wheel looks like it fell off the truck on the way to your house a couple of times. (Maybe their spare tire was flat and it happened to fit?)

Now what I'm wondering is if anyone has a non-airbag, brown 3-spoke laying around. I have a brown interior but a black wheel...ftw.

Or at least a brown leather-stich kit.

Wish I had seen this a few months ago, someone gave me a brown one and I tossed it in with the 83 stuff when I sold it. You might check with Jerry W and see if they used it on the spec car.

That is a crappy picture, but I like the wheel a lot. The flat bottom makes getting in and out a lot easier (of course thats probably more of an issue for me since I'm 6'6"), and the funky bulges on the wheel are perfect for resting your hands on. I'll see if I can get some better pictures eventually, but I think it looks pretty cool with the interior. The only thing I'd change is the yellow MOMO text on the top of the wheel.

Ive also got the Momo Champion i like it alot though the suede wore out. It is about 5 years old though. I had it in my 924S and its now in my 944. Hopefully will find its way into a 968 or 951 one day. Or maybe a 968 powered 944....

Here's my Dino Model 02. Pretty generic style but I bought it because it was pretty cheap ($100 for the wheel, maybe another $60 or so for the hub).

I am pretty sure you guys hate this wheel, but it feels great. Much better than my Momo Tuner that it replaces. I am thinking I will need to paint the silver horn pads black at some point. Other than that, here it is. Thanks Steve!
