(see thread in 951 forum). I also plan to give Russ an hour or so to demo the maxtune. If we fit all of that in and there are still slots open, then maybe we can do a test of the legendary throttle cam. For deep breathing n/a's I reserve the right to make an exception (you know who you are) but for the most part you will probably need 200+ at the wheels to qualify. Fair enough?
how bout 200tq to the wheels 170hp for a N/A?

Sturgis to Nelsons is approx 1350 miles... if I parked the 951 in Minneapolis before I took off for Sturgis on the bike, and I left early enough on Thursday morning... oh, man, someone PLEASE talk me out of this...

My wife just said that IF she is going to be subjected to a 1350 mile trip in one day, with approx half the mileage on the back of the Harley, she had DAMN WELL BETTER (her emphasis, not mine) arrive at a spa for a day of pampering on Friday while I am at the track. Dan, are there any spas (Lisa just added "EXPENSIVE" spas... lol) nearby?

I probably won't be worth anything if I get there, due to fatigue... lol

Regards,

Scott, your dedication is amazing. For the last few years you've gone to great lengths to be here, and often you arrive, wrench for a couple hours, and jet off to some far away destination. We'd love to have you here, but give Lisa a break! (and there aren't any spas that I know of)
You WILL be missed!

Shane, I'll take that piston. No hurry. We still need 11+ more!

Thanks!

Mike.. That is AWESOME! OK, at least 7 more to go. I think you will be impressed what we transform them into. As things start falling in to place, I will be asking for volunteers. For example, last year I had an exterior bullet cam to get some track footage, but I was too busy to work with it, and move it around the car. If I had a dedicated person putting my equipment to work, we could produce a world class Fest video. Also, this would allow me to relax a bit more. Your offer is acknowledged, expect me to take you up on it!!

As the event gets closer, and I figure out if I can for sure make I would be more than happy to volunteer for anything! I'm a decent hand with a grill and some meat too!

Dan just let me know what I can do, as long as I can drink and do it at the same time. I dont mind to film a bit. I bet I can catch some GREAT footage.

We can talk camera stuff if you want, via PM so I dont hijack this to badly. I've got some fun toys/mounts I can bring. I'd consider bringing my rig for a parade lap at the track but wont run it at speed on the track. (Unless I've tested it by then up in Canada, which I may have) Just for extra footage. But like I said, I've also got the usual bullet cam goodies and attachments, plus the boring stuff like I/O port and Bogen mounts.
