Keith - I just see sealing rings. I tried to reuse the one that was on there but there is not inner bevel on the new pipe to accept the sealing ring. it is just flat. Is there another kind of gasket?

Fabspeed and Lindsey sell copper gaskets for around $20.

I bought it used from someone on the board. It is a borla muffler model number 15313 with catback pipe. It has been discontinued adn is not on their site. I called Borla and they said it was made for the 944 Turbo.

I spoke to Borla. They said the car is slower becasue of no gasket aned less backpressure. When I install gasket it should improve. He also said that I shoudl give it about 2000 miles for the car to adjust to the new setup and THEN it will run 1000 times better than stock setup.

Uh........ they told you that?

Did you check the muffler for any rattles inside, like a broken baffle?
