Default What hose is this?

Hey, my intake is off as i am working on my idle control valve, and i thought it was a good time to replace the Air Oil Separator rings as well. i'm trying to pop the cap off, but a hose is in the way that goes into the engine, so i was pulling it off and some red/orange fluid started flowing out... so before i go any farther, is this just a hose for the radiator fluid? i'm guessing its ok to take it off temporarily?

Radiator hose that goes back into the cylinder head from the heater core. You can take it out, may consider changing it and the heater control valve while your at it.

sounds like its time for a coolant flush if its orange! Those hoses tend to split- may want a new one.

hmm, but either the new heater control valve that i have is an older or newer version... i bought it for my 85.5 a long time ago, but the 924S must have a different version. anyone know what i'm talking about?
