If the first car rear ended a neon, I could see that damage happening at 50mph if the neon rolled after the collision.

I personally know the history of the red 951 back to 10 years and all of the Estonian owners (you can see sticker that says "EST" on the rear hatch) and can confirm what Olli said. It's an '86 and it had another collision to the passenger door few years ago. Some time after that it had this serious accident. In the place where this accident happened, the actual impact speed was around 80-90 kph and it was not a straight hit to the pine tree.
