I suspected I had a an air bubble in my hydraulic clutch. So over the weekend I removed the starter and bled the clutch. Even though my car only has 49K, the fluid I removed was black. I am sure it has never been done. I flushed an entire bottle of DOT 3 through the system before it looked good.

If you have not had your clutch or brake fluid flushed, it may be time.

When I first bled the brakes on my old 944, it looked like used motor oil. Not good!
