Foglights - one works, one doesn't?
Here is what I have checked so far...
The bulb (duh!). The bulb appears to be okay (and I put in a backup, no difference).
Fuses appear to be okay. Unless there's a second fuse I can't find...I thought foglights were only fuse 15.
I jacked up the car and looked at the connection to the foglight, also appears to be okay.
Anybody have ideas?

I had to scrub the inside of the bulb housing with a wire brush. They sometimes get corroded in there just the tiniest bit....
Also, have you tested various areas with a voltmeter to check for flowing current?

i had a problem with mine recently. i cleaned the contacts with a wire brush like hockeydude said but i also retentioned the spring that holds the bulb in.
now it works fine.
if you have power there and the bulb is good...obviously you have a ground problem. by retenioning the spring to hold more tension on the metal part of the bulb, you'll get a better ground contact.
in related news...nissan altimas had a recall for headlights that have the same spring setup for holding bulbs in. the fix was an additional ground plate and a new spring that held more tension.

Checked the connections...had no tone on my voltmeter at the light, so I checked the wiring behind. Had tone there, reconnected it and it works. *shrug*
Thanks guys.

its a ground issue, i had the same problem, my foglight quit working while the other worked. I switched lights from working to non and it still didnt work, i tested it with a voltmeter and had 12v but still not lightup (mind you i had a PERFECT bulb) i even checked pos side of foglight to battery and had 12, took it to my mechanic and it was a bad ground, just follow the wire back
