I turn my stereo on and everything sounds fine for a few seconds and then slowly but surely the passenger door speaker starts buzzing, buzzing louder than I have the volume. Bad speaker or bad output on the stereo? If so, what model speaker is a direct fit (i.e. no spacer, no cutting, no replacement grill). I just want sound with reasonable quality, I don't need it to be a project.
Thanks

If it turns out to be the speaker, there is an auction on ebay for a set of alpines that work with the original grilles.

I just spent $80 on a "direct replacement" but the magnets hit the window guide, causing the speaker to protrude from the door panel.
Good luck!

Well if you're running the original speakers, its time to replace all 4.
I bought a pair of Kenwoods for the front and they sound GREAT. They fit right in the hole and sit flush with the door panel, the old speaker grille goes right over it.
In the back I have some Pioneer speakers.
