Would bolting the winch to one of the main studs in the garage be strong enough for a pull like that?

BTW: Anytime you winch something always throw a heavy jacket or blanket on the tensioned cable to stop it from flinging back at you if it snaps under load.

I was thinking about a wench or even power shifting I've tried pushing it with three people before and it didn't go very well. These cars are normally easy to push but add an incline and it becomes a difficult task. I've been thinking about redoing the driveway to make it less steep, but there is a lot of things I would like (third garage, hoist) but that's not going to happen any time soon. I wish I had the time to have done this and now I don't have anything to do when I return from Ireland. I have been thinking about doing the headgasket this summer along with whatever is causing my oil leak. My bet is on rear seal or oil pan gasket. Right before I leave at the end of the month I'm going to have some time to get to the bottom of the boost problem.
Thanks god for AAA because that car had to be out of the neighbors garage today, I guess it sold. Turns out the realtor has a 911SC and he helped me push the 951 out of the garage.

distance it from the driveway, put it in 1st and start it, it might not sound too happy but it will catch. Give it gas and drive up the hill into the garage and kill the ignition. (hit brakes too)
