I am trying to increase the 944 ranks at our Niagara Region PCA Driver Education event at Watkins Glen on May 28 & 29 (Memorial Day Monday & Tuesday).
Registration opens Monday, March 5. Information can be found at www.niagarapca.com Have your envelope containing the registration form and payment postmarked on Monday to ensure acceptance...first come, first served based on postmark date.
First timers are especially welcome! It would be great to get some Rennlisters to show up.

The Glen is a great track, and I encourage everyone to go (but I wont be there -- maybe THAT'S a good reason to go).
Seriously, I can't say enough good things about PCA driver's educations. The events are an excellent way to get introduced to the track and an excellent way to meet people with similar interests who will help you out on future projects.
Any newcomers that are looking for a rewarding experience should definately consider this (and other) DE events -- you've put all this time and money into your 944 baby, now let it PERFORM for you -- kind of a repayment for all of your hard work!

Thanks Van, I agree ^ ^ ^
A common misconception is that you need a 'track car' to attend a DE. Simply not true. Bring what you have and you are guaranteed a great time. The biggest things to consider are: tires need decent tread depth and need to be in good condition, brake pads at least 50%, and a helmet. All the Rules & Regs can be found on our website, as well as the Tech Form.
You don't have to be 'fast' either. This is a driving school, no one is keeping lap times, and no one cares if you aren't blasting around the track. I know first timers are sometimes nervous about being 'too slow'. Nonsense, there is no reason to feel that way at all.
You owe it to yourself to try a Driver Education event at least once. I guarantee you will leave with a huge dopey grin on your face!
