You do Targa? Awesome! Definitely on my list of "things to do". Please, share some stories with us.

Would love to see it! Too bad Speed is no longer a part of my cable package. GRRRR! For some reason I still have "Speed In-Demand" though, so hopefully it will show up on there in the near future..........

So is the 944 OK?

I saw the coverage on Wings Over Canada (?) a couple of weeks ago. I was glad to see that you weren't hurt and the car made it through the incident with minimal damage. Were you able to shut the engine off before going in? It looked pretty scary. That show only touched on the incident, with some in-car footage of you going in and a short interview with you at the finish; can you give some more detail about what happened and the outcome?

That looks like a great event. Have you done it before? I seem to remember seeing a red S2 in one of the previous runnings, too.

MPD47 - my story of the 2006 event will be up on my website, ah, sometime soon. I'm hoping to find some time to finish fooling around with the HTML this weekend. Stories from the 2002 and 2003 events are at www.seko.ca though. (I haven't updated the website for a few years now ...)

There isn't actually that much of me in the show, as I had asked before the event to not have any coverage - I had enough TV coverage in 2002 and 2003. However, once you crash, you don't get much choice in the matter. :-)

Tifosiman: Markus Blaszak (blaszakprecision.com) had the car running the next day so that we could drive across the finish line. I used the car as my daily driver for a few months afterwards, but there is still a bunch of little things to fix. Salt water is not a good thing.

Obviously this was a navigator error. Has he/she been fired (or killed) yet?

Are you allowed recce before the event? Do the organizers provide stage notes? I've only seen TNF a few times on TV and I don't recall the story on notes.

Sure would like to run it one day - when I grow up. (and by that I mean wealthy).
