I went delrin with my Konis a couple of years back.

It's been recommended for the front to do inners OR outers to make the ride bearable. Unless ofcourse it's a track car.

Albert...19mm rear sway bar and delrin bushings for the rear will be ordered tomorrow. DAMN YOU!!! I just need to call Paragon to see if the price is any cheaper if i dont need the rubber bushings. Anyhow i looked on McMaster and they dont carry a 19mm shaft collar for the rear, however MSCDirect.com carries them in 19mm. $4.81 each.

Unfortunetley they only carry them in steel, nothing stainless or aluminum. I figure you could get them plated or powder coated if need be. You may be able to use a 3/4 inch bore collar (available in stainless or aluminum) but it may be a little to big (by about .05mm) to hold onto the bar.

Jon, the bright side is that the bars are transferrable from car to car so when you get the turbo you can just move them over.

I wouldn't think that the rear bar is as likely to walk as the front because of the way it is mounted on the ends...but I could be wrong.

Albert, looks great! Nice pics, I always enjoy looking at that sort of stuff. On a slightly unrelated note, did you put new spring plate bushings in as part of your suspension build? If so, what type did you go with?

Thanks!

Allan, the whole rear suspension assembly came off an extremely low mile turbo. All I did was take my tired one out and install this one.
Before this option presented itself, I was going to buy some Elephant Racing pieces to go in.

[Hi-Jack] Well sort of, I got my front 30mm on the other day however, I have an early car with steel control arms. The outer mounts are different. Are there Delrin outer bushings for early mounts? Anything else I can do besides changing the arms to late?[/Hi-jack]

I should have had my bars powder coated, they look great.

The only Delrin pieces that I know that are available are the ones pictured so they will not work on the early steel arm car. But, like you say, you could slap some early offset aluminum arms on there and be set.
